Trauma-Informed Life Coaching

As a trauma-informed life coach, I have a deep understanding of how past traumatic experiences can make an impact on your life. I take pride in offering guidance and support as you start your journey to a more fulfilling and empowering life. Your safety and comfort are of utmost importance to me. By creating a safe and non judgemental space where you can share your thoughts, feelings, and experiences without fear of retraumatization. Together, we will work on identifying areas of your life where you feel your trauma has an impact and my goal is to empower you to take back control over your life and live a life of fulfillment.  

Trauma-informed life coaching is an approach that takes into consideration the impacts of trauma on an individual’s life, and seeks to provide support and guidance that is sensitive to their trauma history. Many people have experienced trauma at some point in their lives, and these experiences can significantly affect emotional well-being, behavior, and overall life satisfaction. The primary focus is to help set and achieve personal goals, overcome challenges, to improve overall well-being. 

Goals of trauma-informed life coaching are oftentimes related to personal growth, self-improvement, and achieving specific life objectives. Trauma-informed life coaching is designed to be forward looking, staying in the present and propelling forward, to help shift pain into power. I encourage open communication, honesty, and commitment to the coaching process. Our sessions are confidential, and you are always in control over the pace and direction of our work. 

What you will gain during your Trauma Informed Coaching sessions.

  • Goal Setting: We will work together to create a clear roadmap of your goals and expectations from further sessions.

  • Resilience Building: Together we will work on building your emotional intelligence, stress management skills, as well as strengthen your resilience.

  • Mindfulness and Self-Care: Mindfulness and self-care practices are pivotal in managing the effects of trauma and stress. The practices that we incorporate will be tailored to your specific needs. 

  • Personal Growth: This will involve improving communication skills, identifying needs, setting boundaries, and addressing any limiting beliefs that may be holding you back.

  • Accountability and Support: I will provide ongoing support and will hold you accountable to doing your part in healing and working towards your goals. We will track your progress, celebrate all success, no matter how big or small, and address any challenges together that arise along the way.
